Weirdest arcade movie scene I've ever seen!

Man that's a lot of Centipede cabs. The marquees are strange don't have a top marquee but have it right over the bezel. I even saw one that had both marquee right over the bezel and a regular lit one. Had no idea so many styles of cabinets existed.

In this 007 film, which appears to be overseas hence the Gravitar and Dig Dug cabs, Centipede and Gravitar appear to be a popular game in this particular establishment! :004_ssmile:

Thats amazing !!

So that is where all the gravitars are ,

that is really cool to look at , i never would of thought a film Co would go to that much trouble to set that up ,, unless they were all there to start with

Of course you know the actual reason all of the Gravitars were on that boat. They were taking them out to international waters and quietly pushing them off into the Pacific....... And just think, somewhere out in some ocean somewhere is the sunken remains of 500 I'robot cabs in a freighter that sank. At least that's the story I heard.

very cool

so do you think they turned the brightness up too high on the centipede monitors for better film capture or something?

Holy shit, you aren't kidding. That movie looks absolutely terrifying. Bolo look alike, kid beatin it in the preview, that movie looked nuts.

I have seen that 007 film many times, but not in a while, as I don't remember that scene.

Are you sure you've seen that one? It wasn't officially a "Bond" movie as it wasn't done with Ian Fleming. It was made when Roger Moore was playing the "real" Bond. It's kind of an abstract remake of Thunderball.

Isn't that the one where they play the vector-like war game where you get zapped if you screw up?

UPDATE: yep that's the one, the game's called DOMINATION

You mean an Octopus could of played Gravitar ??

With all those arms , he might of been unbeatable , they are not stupid you know ..

Damn , now i have to beat the Gravitar high score that an 8 armed blubbertron set ,,,,,

I can't remember the name of the movie... but the weirdest arcade scene I can remember is at the end of the movie... the "arcade" sort of zaps characters from the different games in to the real world and they attack the player...
