I picked up a cheap cab the other day, that came with a 'dead' monitor.
The cab had been in a cold and damp environment for a few days, I aired it out and warmed it up, and tried to get it going. The monitor at first only stayed on for a few seconds, now that it has sat for a few days it is staying on most of the time... but the screen has some weird dark smudge on the right 1/3 of it. It looks like a shadowy waterfall effect, it is moving down like a waterfall in a constant shadowy stream. Pictures are attached.
The monitor is a WG 19" K7602.
Any ideas if this is the tube or some other issue?
