Weird Spot on K4800 Flyback, Green Dot Issue?

My 13" WG K4800 gives nothing but a small green dot on the screen when powered up. I took a look at the flyback and noticed this ashy part. Does that look blown? And could a blown flyback display even a small green dot on the screen?

B+ is 160vdc at the ceramic resistor's blue wire.

Well, rub that spot and see if you fill a pit or crack - or if it's just the residue from a spider egg sack.

A dot in the middle means no deflection at all. And the B+ seems to indicate that. It's what usually happens if the yoke isn't connected - no load. Obviously check the yoke is connected, has good solder and traces below, and you might even want to measure the yoke to see that it is good...
