My paperboy game works great - however it has started doing something strange...

When you complete a DAY - it shows how many houses you missed - when it does that it plays a sound effect that tells you how much of a loser you are by missing the houses you did...
Well that sound effect has disappeard... it was there - but now its not.
I think I can hear it playing very very faintly - anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

How do the audio tests go in test mode?

Can you hear both channels?

You can loop through all of the sounds in the test mode.

I have a similar problem. I can't hear about five sounds in paperboy. It is that way in the test mode. Are there specific chips to look at for this? I have a spare boardset I could swap some chips if I know what to look at. That info could help both of us i bet.

Mine had a dirty pot for the volume control. As you turned it it had a lot of static. Check that too. It controls both channels.
