Here's the deal. I have a couple newly aquired jamma bootleg pacs that I got non working. I got them both working but both of them have the same color issues.
I also have two other bootleg pacs running on other hardware with the same color issues. I dont usually mess with the bootleg boards but figured I would pick up a few since they are usually cheap. I cant imagine they are supposed to look like this but im beginning to wonder since all 4 I have are like this.
I will post a picture in a while.

Here are a couple screenshots. If anyone knows what might be causing this please let me know. I have already confirmed its not ram and not color proms.

To me it looks like the monitor is missing a color. Is the video pinout from the board going to the right input pins on the monitor? I know it's JAMMA but it never hurts to verify the cab wiring.

Or can you dial the colors in by using the neckboard controls?

all 3 colors are there - i see reds, blues and greens, but, i'm willing to bet that the harness your using has the blue and green swapped (or the pcb's are all set up with blue and green swapped).

Looks like the colours are swapped on the harness, very common for some reason. An easy trick to tell if you have all three colours is to see if you are getting white, if you are getting white then you definately have all 3 colours as white is all 3 guns at full power.

Nope, this is my bench rig...everything is right. But you guys may be on to something there. Maybe they are pinned out wrong on the board like cdjump mentioned? I will check this out and post back.

Wouldnt be the 1st time I had heard of the pinouts of a bootleg being slightly wrong.

Here is the results...
red and green were routed wrong on the jamma pcbs so I jumped the traces on the board. Also there was no trace going to the finger for video ground. Made the repairs on both boards and they come up great now.
Then I took a look at a couple other boots. One was a pac boot that had a jamma adapter added. It was simply missing video ground as well.
The second was an 8-liners board modded for mspac, also missing video ground. Fixed all 4 of these boards and they all had virtually the same problem.
Thanks for the pointers, learned something new today. I wonder how many of these pac jamma's are out there that are pinned out wrong.

mabye thats the newfangled jaNma that some of those bootleg boards have silkscreened on them lol..

glad to hear you fixed em up. looked like swapped colors to me too...
