Plugged my Wei-ya 825HR up through my isolation xformer, and immediately blew the left fuse of the pair in the 2 above the power cord connection. Hooked up a second fuse, did the same.

What's happening here? Everything is plugged up correctly. The isolation transformer is pushing 120v. Any ideas?

Pop the wires out of the monitor power connector (on the monitor side of the connector) and interchange them. Whatever was in one hole now goes in the other hole and vice versa.

You must have something shorted on the chassis or possibly your degaussing coil is shorted.

Try unplugging the degauss coil.

The DGC was unplugged already. The actual chassis is sitting on a piece of plastic. I'm starting to think this might be a bad chassis. I'll check it over for something shorting it tonight.

Nope. I don't see any shorts either. I'm starting to think this is just a bad unit.
