I'm scratching my head on this one. Came to me completely dead. Flyback was fried, several resistors, HOT, and vertical chip. I've replaced: Flyback, TDA1675A, R164, R167, R168, Q39, Q36
It now has some life but I hear, what I believe are the relays, clicking on and off. The research I've done says it's either the monitor not getting video sync to trigger the relays (the game is VGA) or there's a short on the secondary side somewhere (which I haven't found any).
Anyone else have experience fixing these that dealt with the clicking issue?

If it makes a clicking noise its either the HOT or something to do with the power supply section. The makvisions/we-ya happ monitors were not terrible but they LOVED to blow the HOT or something is causing the hot to blow. I cant remember the rule of thumb think it is slow clicking its the HOT and if its a fast clicking is the something with the power supply section but it may be the opposite I cant remember. The HOTs that were originally in them were crap, might see if this HOT can replace the one they are using https://www.arcadepartsandrepair.co...s/transistors/fjl6920-high-output-transistor/ its much beefier and better than most factory HOTs.

Thanks, I actually did replace the HOT with the one you mentioned to resolve the original problem. It sounds like it's one of the relays that keeps clicking. It's a louder click and not the more quite clicking of the smps.
