Working on a Wei-Ya C3129D (Tri-sync).
The flyback is bad as it looks like it arc'd to the wire wrapped around the core and took out some other components.

My question is: I have a replacement flyback from @security0001. Should I keep the heatsink that the current wires are going through?

the brown wire wrapped around the flyback ferrite core should be installed the same way and wrapped the same direction on the new flyback as it was on the old flyback

Did you maybe mean the heatshrink? It doesn't really matter. The new one has a zip tie near the flyback and that is all that is really necessary.

Thanks for the reply.

This model seems to have different specs for a few of the resistors than some of the schematics I found (can't find schematics on this specific model that came out of a Buck Hunter game). Mine burned up and don't know the values of the following...
R88, R89, R164, R167, and R168.

I have a schematic for a M3129 DF-TS and it seems to match my DS-LG chassis (except for R88 and R89 that are burned on my chassis, so can't tell)
R88 8.2k 1/2W
R89 10k 1/4W
R164 27k 1/4W
R167 1k 1/2W
R168 15k 1/4W
