Hi,

The picture on my Wei Ya 825HR4 chassis that I purchased from Victor at 8liners is to wide.

Way way to wide.

I've ensured the narrow pin is used, adjusted the the H size down to minimium and even adjusted the B+ ...still way to wide.

I must be able to change out some components to make this work?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Buffett,

You sir.... Are a legend!!

C908 cap was the answer. I soldered a spare one I had, in parallel, and it fixed it perfect!!

Thanks again

no prob glad it was an easy fix.

all i did is remember a thread that i read.
all the props go to the folks in that thread they did all the work.

i read every monitor repair thread that is posted.
this way i can keep up on things like this.

i am however one of the K7000 masters on here:)

Peace

One other note- some games that run real wide (like midway titles), even with changing the cap on this will still be too wide. I called the tech over at Alva Amusement who sells and repairs these chassis, and he said he does his fine width adjustment by turning the B+ pot. If you turn it down slightly, your picture will narrow/shrink, which makes sense. I've done this on about 6 or 7 of these now to tweak the width to be perfect and have not had any issues. He assured me it was safe on the chassis but I was a little skeptical.
