I am trying to get a tv tube swap to work, however Im having issues getting it to sync. Its for a Missile Command, I can see the graphics but they keep rolling. The only problem that I know for sure is that the neckboard is really loose, I can still see 1/8" of the pins and if I bump the neckboard it will wiggle loose. Im not sure if that could cause my sync issues or not. I have read that hot glue might be a good fix for the loose neckboard.
Did I guess correctly that BOTH the Horiz & Vert sync wires from the pcb harness should be connected to the white wire (Sync) on the chassis?
It seems like I have tried all the adjustments possible, horiz, vert hold, vert line, and Im guessing that the white pot in the far back center of the chassis has something to do with the sync as well.
any thoughts? Has anyone ever had to return a chassis to alva, even with the power cord cut off?
