I've been wanting a rotary shooter (Ikari warriors, ideally) for a while now, so when this one popped up on CL for $200 or trade for amp, subs, and box I jumped on it. I traded some 8 year old Fosgate subs with an amp and two sealed boxes for this. I'm happy since I haven't used them in forever, and they were just taking up space in my garage (like this machine is now). Overall it's in good solid condition. There is no side art, but the CPO, bezel, and marquee are in great shape. No cabinet damage what so ever. The left stick is a little loose, the right stick is a little tight, but if you average the two...

BTW, is there a good way to get the cigarette smell out of the cab? The sellers house reeked, but the cab didn't smell too bad until I popped off the back (hence the reason it's still in the garage)

Looks good, nice pickup. Buy a car airfreshner (like the little trees, something like the orange one and hang inside cab) It should neutralize the smell or atleast overpower it. Im a smoker and they seem to do a good job in my truck.

Thanks for the tip, my wife actually suggested the same thing. I'm trying to find something to absorb the smell, not just mask it. I may try that in the short term though.

Most car detailers have a spray that neutralizes smells. When I worked at a Ford Dealer they used to spray this stuff into stinky cars and it got rid of the smell. Dont remember the name of it but most detailers should have or know. Could probably apply some on the back door and that would also work.

Good luck with it :)

If you know someone around you who deals in the Norwex product line, their odor eliminator product will work for you on this. It will take several applications, but it will remove the smell. It uses enzymes to neutralize the odors.

If you need a manual for that cab, let me know. I've currently got a conversion that still had the original Heavy Barrel manual in the bottom.

I also have a rotary stick wrench if you're interested too.

Kinda interested in the manual, never heard of a rotary stick wrench. Google'ing now...

I can see the yellow cigarette residue on the bezel. I would try a can of ozium. That stuff works great to absorb smoke. I always had a can on hand in my teenage yaers!

Yeah, the whole cab needs a good cleaning. The monitor is kinda blurry from the crap on the bezel. Really gross if you ask me...

How much do you want for the tool?

Awesome game. If mine woulda been dedicated, I never would have gotten rid of it. As it was, the minute the monitor failed I parted it out and turned that fine woody into a 60 in 1 and sold it for 8 bills.

Would love to find a nice dedicated HB.

I believe Ikari warriors is a horizontal game. Not that it matters, I'd just be walking to the right instead of up. Although all of the writing would be 90* off...

I had no idea it had a curved marquee until I saw it in person. Really unique looking.

Phet, those aren't rotary joysticks, are they?

Yep, Happ replacement rotaries.

Ikari Warriors and part 2 (Victory Road) are both vertical. Ikari Warriors III is horizontal.

Heavy Barrel was the first arcade game I ever purchased. I bought mine from Bob of Paradise Pinball in Loveland after he closed his arcade at the mall I worked at. I loved that game!!!

The guy I bought this from bought it from the original owner who had it in a restaurant in alaska before he moved it here. Only has 19k plays on it.

So I'm going to have to pass on that tool. My rotary sticks are different...

Does anyone know how to take these apart?
