There could be many reasons that it is playing blind. Check the wiring to the monitor first and ID the monitor type while in there and we can be of further assistance.

BTW, Mad Planets is a totally kick ass game. You should seriously consider restoring it.

You need to go through it and find the wire that came loose, im hoping that is going to be your issue. Also make sure all your I think they are called interlock switches? are pulled out or pushed in.

It wouldn't be the interlock because he is getting power. If it was, he would get no power at all.

Sounds like something is loose. What monitor is in there? If it is a 4600 then the daughter cards could have shaken loose on the trip home...

I think it must be protesting that you are not turning it back into a Mad Planets.

Start the resto and I am sure all will be fine :)

Post some pics of the back of the monitor and chassis, most likely something is loose.
If the monitor did indeed fry, I'm sure I have an extra working monitor hanging around the garage you can have.

im not getting power to the monitor? checked the fuse and its good. checked every connection i could find,(disconnected and reconnected) still nothing? put my meter on the power cable going to the monitor board and theres no power going to it.
