I have a bally night rider that I recently installed a ultimate mpu board in. It has been working fine but all at once it wouldent kick the ball out of the outhole. It tries but doesnt quite have the power to get it out, whats wrong with this thing now? thanks in advance!

try replacing the coil sleeve and file off the burr on the metal plunger

probably rebuild both flippers is what i'd do

Take the apron off and inspect the coil. I have had a few that are really gummed up and dirty. Just needed a quick cleaning.

Make sure both parts of the kicker are clean and work freely. A weak or missing spring will cause that also.

Check all the stuff mentioned above but your problem could also be the connector at the driver board or a "weak" driver transistor (I've seen it happen). I would ground the tab of the driver transistor manually and see what happens. If you've got the same problem it's either the connector or the mechanism is dirty, misadjusted, etc... If it works fine when doing this I would replace the driver transistor.

Could also be that a screw has come out of the coil stop or some other mechanical problem.
