we have a former world record champ in our midst

Could be 4. The bezel instructions on taito say u start with 4 I believe. I'm not sure what factory default is. Tg. Tracks 3 to start

Actually, TG tracks both. And I think the scores may have gotten co-mingled from the tournament at Funspot, since I doubt Funspot changed their machine from 4 to 3 then back to 4, and the scores were entered in on the 3-man track.

keep in mind all these scores are from the beginning of TG. i don't know when they started the 'official settings' thing, if it was later on or right from the get go.

All I had to do back in 1982 to get my score posted was to have the manager of the Chuck E Cheese where I played sign a letter saying the score was legit. It would have been easy for people to fake it.

The Lady Bug score on TG is also bogus. There is no way anyone got anywhere near 1,081,370 on Lady Bug.

Do you have contact info on Dwayne? If so, I would LOVE to talk to him about this. Lady Bug is a game that gets progressively faster until it is impossible to play. There is NO WAY ANYONE could get a score that high. A more realistic high score for an advanced player would be around 400,000, but even that is stretching it. And that is getting every possible point up until the level where it gets impossible to play.

I just got off the phone with Dwayne and he said that he a gamer named Bill Bastable are the best at Lady Bug. He said he put the end of a 1,000,000 point game up on YouTube, but I can't seem to find it.

I'll e-mail you his e-mail address if you want it.

Dave Nelson told me awhile back that they are/were going to remove the 4 man track but they couldn't get in touch with the 1 (or 2) other folks that have 4 man scores up other than Jason Cram and himself.
