Well...the time is here....last Thursday the packers showed up and packed all the items we are taking to Australia (job relocation). These guys were very professional and took care wrapping all of our stuff. My personal home game room will consist of:
Defender
Robotron
Joust
Donkey Kong
Pacman (upright)
Pacman (cocktail) this one was thrown in at the last minute because I had space. Will restore this one over there.
Galaga
Frogger style cabinet 60in1
Southpark pinball

The container will leave Houston, Texas on April 25th and arrive in Brisbane May 30th. We leave April 22nd and arrive the 24th.

My wife and I are looking forward to the 2 year Australian experience and the chance to work on such an exciting project. I have joined the Aussiearcade forum and will make contact when we land. We will be living in Gladstone......

Remember to pay your storage unit fees or this is going to show up on Storage Wars Texas :)

some stupid advice you probably don't really need

Oz is so starved for cabs you will have a bunch of folks wanting them when you leave and you will pretty much be able to name your price. And don't forget to use sunscreen there, very high rates of melanoma compared to here. Sounds like a great adventure!

Thanks guys.....should be a wonderful challenging experience.

I did pull the batteries from all the games....

Katanajoe....I totally blew the "going away" party.....life has been crazy lately.
And I will miss the fun times at the expo...have a cold one for me at the next one.

I also want to give a big thumbs up for my wife...she is putting up with my now international addiction...:)

The Queensland guys are great, I went to a meet there when I was visiting and met a bunch of them

You may have a few new best friends with your load of stuff

FedExin...

Yea, that is actually the proper way to strore them. Look at the back side and you should see some plastic "feet" that protect the cabinet.

But, please remove the balls before tilting back so they do not fall down through the playfield and break things.

And the batteries should be pulled for long term storage.

We made it

Well we landed in Gladstone Australia yesterday morning....loooong flight!

Houston to Dallas = 1 hour
Dallas to Brisbane, AUS = 16 hours
Brisbane to Gladstone = 1 hour

This is just the "in air" time, gotta add the airport time.

Anyway, we are settling in and I look forward to the shipping container to arrive on May 31st...will see how my games made it.

Will post pics after I set up the game room.
