Want to say what a great experience I had with "descrentl." He was selling a dedicated NBA Jam. I was in Afghanistan at the time of purchase and he agreed to hold it for me until I was close to leaving for home. Not only that, but he prepared it for shipping like I've never seen before...

...and I wanted to say thanks and you can rest assured that any transaction you make with "descrentl" will be great. Thanks man!

I can't wait for the vids on this one to roll in.

and that's how any machine should be shipped, he did an excellent job. the heavy cardboard edge protectors are #winning.

I am putting a switcher in it for NBA Jam, NBA Jam TE, Hangtime, Maximum Hangtime, Rampage World Tour, and 2-On-2 Open Ice since they are all 3-4 player games with only 3 buttons. Stay Tuned :)

oh i know, that's actually what i have planned for mine (tho i haven't decided on the games as i have a dedicated Jam and RWT), should be interesting wiring up all the 3/4p harnesses. Actually hoping toplessZ might come out with a 3/4p harness adapter just like the ki/mk one he's working on.

Yeah, I was just reading that on the other thread. I'll just wire them all up like I normally do with the MK harnesses and save some green. Not that it would be expensive, but I already know how to do it the old fashioned way and it doesn't take much of an hour to do. We'll see how it all turns out. I bought a switcher on Ebay about 6 days ago and it hasn't shipped yet. I contacted the seller and asked when he planned to ship it and have received no word. I'm not that worried because he has 100% feedback and he's based out of Canada.

On a side note, if you are still looking for a dedicated MK3, ctozzi has one for sale that's pretty nice, although it looks like there is a chunk of wood missing off the side of the CP. Here's the thread...

I don't mind spending the money, soldering in the diodes would just be to time consuming to me (and i'm super picky so everything would have to be shrinkwrapped ect..), just so many wires in each 3/4p harness (what is it like 17 wires per harness?).

I bought one of those switchers a few weeks ago off the bay, i should really get around to testing it as i've seen a horror story or two about them. I just couldn't pass up a Happ Power Pro for less than $20 shipped.

And yea i saw chris's mk3, it wouldn't be cost effective with the water damage to the side and top as well as shipping.

Cool. Understandable.
