Wavy Line separation on the picture

I have a Street Fighter II Champion Edition and the monitor (a WG 25K7193) has this vertical wavy line that makes the left side dark and the right side lighter. The line is constantly waving. Also if I leave the monitor on for long enough the right side starts getting a green tinge and solid horizontal green lines appear spaced about two inches apart from top to bottom, (only on the right side of the wavy line). The picture attached doesn't really show any green, but you can tell that there's a separation going on a little bit to the left of center.

Does this just look like I have to change the capacitors, or something else?

Thanks.

Time for a cap kit.

Also, while you've got it out, look at the flyback. If it's the version with the white knobs, inspect VERY carefully for cracks, seeping goo, or any signs of stress. They were very failure prone, and when they go they can fry other things.

You may want to change the large filter cap as well which typically does not come in a standard "kit".

The green tinge and lines will most likely adjust out once the new caps are in place.

And yes, I would recommend taking a look at the flyback while you're in there also.

Is this what you meant by seeping goo?

Nope. I think that's just hot glue to hold the knobs in place, and that you have the black knob flyback. Much more reliable.

"Seeping goo" will be a brownish gunk leaking out of the seam in the flyback, or out of a crack in the side. Usually the white knob flybacks develop cracks around the controls, causing arcing, erratic focus, and weird jitters. They can also start to separate at the seam and crack and leak the potting compound (goo). Then they arc and burn up and create lots of nasty smoke, while frying your horizontal output transistor and sometimes also the regulator IC. Fun fun.

Yeah, I'd just recap that, should be fine. I agree with Kevin's suggestion about the main filter - that's the big cap on the chassis, it's not part of a cap kit. I would replace that too, since you're having problems with the picture waving.

Thanks for the help. I know which cap kit I need and where to get it, but where can I get the main filter cap?

You can buy that filter cap from any electronics supplier (Mouser, Digi-Key, etc). I don't know the value offhand, but just look at it - it's the biggest one on the chassis, and the value will be printed on it. Probably 680uf at 200v or something like that. Since I assume you're buying your cap kit from Bob Roberts (and if you're not, you should be... great service!), he also carries a wide selection of caps, and I'm sure he has the filter cap for that monitor.
