OK Guys, what do you make of this?

I have a MAME PC Setup.

My monitor has a wave/ripple in it, but ONLY when there is movement on the screen....

For example, games in MAME produce a wave/ripple. Video snapshot playing in Mala produces a wave/ripple. If I scroll to a game in Mala that does not have a video, there is no Wave/Ripple.

Here is what I have checked:

B+ is at 108 exactly.
New filter cap is installed
Deluxe Bob Roberts Cap Kit is installed
I'm pretty sure everything is grounded up correctly.
The power cable has a ground prong

It only happening with movement on screen just has me stumped!!

Any ideas??

I'm not sure what you mean by "ripple" - is it like a smearing to the side, distorting the picture with a shadow?

What kind of monitor is this? I'm going to guess Sanyo 20EZ, based on the B+...

It is a bar that travels horizontally across the screen. As it moves across the image it almost looks like a slight ripple on the image. Is that more like a 'Hum Bar'?

The Monitor is a Sanyo 20EZ

You say this is a MAME setup... how do you have the monitor connected to the PC? What kind of video inverter are you using? Perhaps there is some kind of interference in there. If it were a true monitor power supply problem, the hum bar would be there all the time.

VGA cable > Ultimarc Video Amplifier Card > Nintendo Inverter Board > Monitor

can you hookup a regular vga monitor to the pc for testing? would help you see if its a video card/pc issue or something further down the line...

I am experiencing the same simptoms on my dedicated original Donkey Kong cabinet. I have searched high and low but have been unable to find a solution to this issue.
