"Watching This Short Animation Is Like Taking a Trip to the Mall in the 80s"

I was working at Spaceport in Langorne PA, 20 minutes north. There
were 2 Spaceports - one was in the Oxford Valley Mall and the other
was in a second, smaller mall quite literally across the parking lot !
The Spaceport manager of the second mall left to go work in the
Galleria.

Great memories.

Wow... A buddy and I used to skip school and go to the Oxford Valley Mall Spaceport. When the mall cop would throw us out for being there on a school day, we'd walk across the parking lot to the Lincoln Plaza Spaceport. That was always by lunchtime and we'd eat lunch at Luca's Pizza.

We were walking across the parking lot one time with absolutely no cover, and my mom came walking across from the other direction going into Lincoln Plaza. She called me a little son of a bitch (sort of an odd insult for a mother to give now that I think about it) and hit me over the head with her purse. She told me to get in the car and took me home, but left my buddy (lol). She also didn't rat him out, which I suppose is pretty honorable as moms go.

I skipped 31 days of school that year, that was the only time I got busted and I also still passed. I'd never make it in todays world. My kid misses a day, and my wife gets an automated phone call, a text and an e-mail by 9am.

Sorry for the ramble, but just reading about those locations brings up a flood of memories.

Hell, the 90's were great for me -

Lotsa auctions, lotsa deals. I was in collector
heaven then.

I agree with all of that except the cars, 80's cars were mostly junk LOL! I agree that vid seems more of a 90's feel than the 80's, I know I might be biased because of my age but I can see people from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's saying their decade was the best but have a hard time from the younger crowd saying the 90's were, everything started getting dark and depressing in that era, the fun times were gone and hasn't seemed to ever come back.
