Trying to get a Golden Tee 2005 up and running. The monitor went out and after trying and trying could't get it to work, so I got another chassis from a member here. Was told it had a convergence issue because the rings were broken on the yoke, but it had been capped and had otherwise good picture. Since I was going to only use the chassis and not the yoke, figured the convergence issue wouldn't be a problem.

Anyway, here is what I have now. Washed out and double image picture. If it hadn't been done already, I would do the cap kit to try to fix it. Is there an area I should focus on here or just do another cap kit?

I also tried swapping the remote board and neck board with the old chassis with no change.

If the gt is set to std res and you are using a med res 7500, you will see the double image.

Ig the gt is set to med and this happens to be a 7400(std) you may see this.

Besides that, yeah thats washed out and nasty man.

Did you swap a 7501 for a 7502 - or vice versa? They had different yokes and sometimes give a messed up pic...

Tried flipping the dip switches for resolution an it was worse. Checked TP202 and have a voltage of 122.0. Checked the yikes and the are the same model as are neck boards. The sticker is torn off this new chasis so I can't verify wich one it is. I was told it is a k7502. The old chasis is a 7502-001. I don't see a number on the CRT that matches with the numbers on the k7500 chart. Just the Hitachi label.

Any other ideas?

Thanks
Joe
