Was this a Space Ace?

Ouch! Certainly looks like it could have been a dedicated Space Ace....with the front marquee chopped straight. That image should be sent to the admin at Dragon's Lair Project for the "Laser Graveyard" section.

Too much $$ for a piece of wood. Nothing left except maybe for the speaker grills, or unless there's some original harness intact.

There's nothing more nauseating than seeing a Cinematronics laser game marquee frame cut straight across to accommodate a standard marquee.

I've seen it too many times....never gets any easier.

No, that was not a dedicated space ace. I've owned one, and made some reproductions of it. The area the coin door is bolted to gives it away as not a dedicated space ace.

without being able to see a side shot, no. Cinematronic coin doors are the same (or made by) coinco, and those fit alot of machines. It almost has a Nintendo look to the sides, but not on the lower half. Kinda stumped on this one. I'd say dragon's lair, but i just don't think it is.
