Was Q-Bert only game using a Knocker?

Every solid state pinball until modern stern simulated it (horribly). Can't think of any other vids. It was a cool addition.

I'm trying to think of games where it would have been good. Maybe where you fall and hit bottom off screen. Crazy Climber?

Donkey Kong would have been great for when Mario falls and when DK falls on the rivets level.

Atari's Road Riot and Steel Talons twin sitdowns had seat knocker solenoids that kicked as your were taking damage.

Seeing how difficult it is to keep them running consistently (esp. in a Q*bert), it's easy to see why other games didn't adapt the tech. Later on, shaker motors replaced the "feedback" in games such as Outrun.

Very interesting!

I should have clarified that I was pondering Arcade Video Coin-Ops games. I realize there are plenty of knockers and shakers in the pinball world.

Also, I'm not really counting Shooters with their recoil, or even Driving games with the shaker feature, such as in Out Run.

Instead, I was particularly curious about a Knocker feature, as seen in Q-Bert.

The idea of having the Knocker with Donkey Kong and Crazy Climber is brilliant! Would have been perfect.
