was galaga 88 a kit game, or did it have a dedicated cab? or both?

ok, seeing the other thread about a $510 marquee, my marquee is now for sale. $90 shipped. monstrous bargain. ;)

BTW the cab #s are model# 50100 and ser# UR00167, so not completely sure what cab it was original.

According to my Atari spreadsheet that I am assembling:

Dragon Spirit - 30100
Galaga '88 - 50500
Pacmania - 50400

But then again, here is a thread from Sav that is almost 4 years old stating he had a Galaga '88 cab with 50100 model number:
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=41933

And then here is a member who says he has Galaga '88 with model number 50500.

I do show that there were both a dedicated Galaga '88 and a Galaga '88 kit. However, I obviously don't know which model number is which.....

A good 10 years ago I was collecting these cabs.
I looked for a dedicated Splatterhouse for years and finally gave up, I guess its just a kit.

Model: 50500
Serial: GAL0073

IIRC from what I saw on AtariScott's production list ~188 or so dedicated were made... the rest were kits...

Yea the one I have is SAV's old one. And on the other post my Mike I dont have any stickers on it so I would guess from your stickers that "GAL" before the numbers settles it as far as what ones are dedicated. [
