Just wondering. Here is a link for those of you not familiar. You answered quetions about video games and played different games (timed) added your scores at the end and the highest score wins. They sent you to the name the game screen shots. If you won that you got your very own arcade game.

There are at least two, if not more, former contestants on this forum. One was pwnd by Juno First :)

There was someone who used to post here regularly that was on Starcade. I am thinking it was AvidGeek, but I could be wrong.

There are alot of videos on youtube. Maybe they could find themselves playing and post the link. I remember this show from back in the day. I Did not watch it much. I must have thought "arcade games" as I knew them then, were here to stay. It is nice to see games in close to out of the box condition.

I watched that show as much as I could as a kid. Those final rounds were crazy. No bigger pressure on a kid who's got to score a certain amount of points in a short amount of time with a crowd watching.

Starcade was one of the benefits of loving arcades and living in Southern California as a kid. Seems it was rare a contestant wasn't from the SFV or LA area in general.

Pooyan

We have a Pooyan in the museum that is supposedly the actual game won on Starcade. The gentleman who donated it to us said he purchased it from someone who had purchased it from the former Starcade contestant.
