Looks nice. How much time was vested in the restoration?

Way cool! I played that once a long time ago when Videotopia was still making its rounds. A simple but fun game.

Why would you ? Just wondering, seems like a perfect add on to keep.

It would be like buying a ferrari and putting a whale tail on it. Maybe he should screw in cigarette holders on it too. How about light up trigger buttons. How about putting cultass grips instead of the bike ones.

When you restore something, you take to orignal or its not restored. If your worried about chipping sides, rasie the cabinet up higher.

LOOKS GREAT.. always love the artwork on the machine, that and WAR OF THE WORLDS...hey, you just got it done in time for FURY's WARRIOR to be realeased... Wish the arcade had a 1 player game to it..

if you spent that much time on it, why did you not eliminate the corner protectors?

If I repaired the corner I would of had to paint the cabinet back white and not having new art it would not of looked good and we added the protectors to prevent any other damage

+1

But what else would you expect from dale?

This is something I've never quite understood on the forums. Specifically why then it is widely considered fine to throw a HSS kit or multi-kit into a game (SW/QBert et al). I realize they are easily reverted for the most part should the owner choose to do so, however, it always just seemed to me to be diametrically opposed to the restoration process generally. Just was always curious why the new cabinet argument was split quite often evenly while there is always a clamor for a HSS kit for game x. I really don't have an opinion either way, I just like to play but it was something I always wondered.

If it was my cab I would of axed the protectors and found art but since this belongs to someone else and I am restoring the cab for him and he wants it like it is then that is what we do.

I don't have a problem with high score kits or even multigame kits. If you can change it back and it adds to the game, its fine.

I don't like cab restorations. Games having imperfections is part of their history. Get them as close to 100% and leave them alone. I find reproduction art is generally crap. Last choice option. Find a better cab and pass the old one along.
