I finally found the time to listen to this. First off let me apologize to John for my tardy review. Second, if you're reading this and you don't already have a copy of this, then you need to go to his site and correct that asap! The entire production of this is done on such a professional level that it is amazing to think that this was made entirely by John. I've done some basic audio and voice work on some VERY simple videos, and I have to say that the time it must have taken to produce this is more than most people would imagine. The amount of work that went into this, the story and the sound effects, is truely a labor of love. The story holds your interest the entire time, it's very suspenceful, and reminicent of old radio shows and even the original Twilight Zone. I just love how this provides a backstory for all the cool things in Johns arcade. The only thing that I would change would be to add "commercials", either actual recordings from the golden age of radio, or new productions - maybe an ad for The Lost Highway Arcade, or a surplus store that sells gas masks and geiger counters, or a movie theater that is premiering "Creepshow"...
Great job, John (and crew)! Thank you for the work you put into this. All you guys that are on the fence about this, you need to skip a few Starbucks or brews this week and buy this. It's only $15! Come on, we're all basically geeks here, and it shows support for a fellow klover.
What's the eta on Episode II?
