Warning! Time Warp Approaching..."The Lost Highway Chronicles (Episode I)" Released!

I know firsthand how much time, effort and passion John poured into this project.....and the results are simply amazing! Between the adventure book, the website, the radio show.....all of it is OVER THE TOP and oozes John's creativity which has already attracted so many folks to his home arcade.

I have always wondered that once you complete your home arcade and friends and family enjoy it....."What is next?". Well....John has one answer that ALL OF US get to enjoy and we never even have to leave our own house! How sweet is that!?

I guess I need to launch a Saturn V rocket off my rooftop at Tranquility Base Arcade to even attempt to come close to this effort.

Awesome John....simply awesome....

Sgt. Alan Radue ;)

Hey thanks for the publicity Alan! I appreciate it. And thanks for letting me use your voice for the Sergeant and General in "UFO Zone".

Alan's input beyond recording his voice for me has been monumental to say the least. He has been my toughest critic, and rightfully so. If I sent an audio test piece to Alan and he thought it sucked, he told me so, then offered his input, and that's exactly what I needed. The truth. Is it good, does it sound right, does the story flow? Having a good friend to give you honest feedback: priceless.

Although no story is perfect, and there will always be critics, I did the best I could do at the time with each aspect of this project. Not once did I ever say "well, that's good enough, just leave it and move on".

I think overall it turned out very well and all who receive a copy are going to be pleasantly surprised. It's gonna blow you away. I say this with humble confidence, (if there is such a thing).

Awesome!

Website looks great. Very well designed.

Thanks man... I tried to design the site so it would be very easy for John to maintain. John can edit all of his content when ever he wants. He doesn't need to know any code at all. All he has to do is type in the words and hit the save button.

Thanks for all of your help Billy, you rock! The website couldn't be any better.

And yes, it is in EASY mode for me because I am a computer idiot! LOL

John you made this a reality. I'm just the monkey who built the site.

Thanks for ordering Paul! I want everyone to know that one thing I do not take lightly is people spending their hard earned money on my production. There's nothing worse than going to the movies with your wife (or girlfriend) and spending $20 and being disappointed; feeling like you got ripped off or taken.

EXPECT to be entertained with "The Lost Highway Chronicles". I'll never claim to be perfect or anything silly like that, but I firmly believe most people are going to really like my story, even if you're not a sci-fi fan.

Paul, your 7 year old is going to love it as well. There's no profanity or human deaths, but at times the audio can be a little scary....I do mention this on the website.

I'll send your copy out in Saturday's mail Paul.

Got mine in the mail today- can't wait to listen to it! Glad you mentioned it's fine for a 7 year old. My son watched me open it and exclaimed, "ahh cool!" Now we can enjoy it together. Thanks again John- I'll be sure to post my thoughts when we listen to it.

Since he has a CD player in his room by the bed I think we're going to make it story time. He's pretty good with scary stories - I'll let you know how he reacts....:)

Received my copy on Saturday and just now read the Adventure Book... I can't wait to listen to the CD tomorrow night! I'm going to let my son read the adventure tomorrow evening and hopefully we'll both listen to it down in the arcade with only the "mood lighting" on. :)

So far I'm liking it very much John! :beerchug: Excellent work.

Got it in the mail, John. Listened to it all and it really reminded me of a Saturday morning serial. I'm a little too young to remember those when they were on, but my dad introduced me to some he had on tape, like "The Shadow" and others. It also reminded me of the storybook and record combos you used to get in department stores back in the '70s/'80s. I had some of them growing up and I continue to collect the ones based on video games to this day. It's great stuff for adults and kids alike. Thanks for sharing your talent with the community!

Thanks for taking the time to post a comment, Terry. I'm glad you liked it!

Just read the book to my son - he's a little young for some of the wording so we talked it out. Going to try the CD tomorrow night with the lights low to avoid distraction - one thing with kids who grew up with a TiVo is that distraction factor. Heck, they don't even know what it's like to have to sit by a phone while you're talking on it and not be able to get up and walk around - assuming they ever talk and not text.

We did listen to the audio intro and he's interested - and I thought the production value so far is terrific.

I got my copy and I must say that I am most impressed with the polished look of the 'comic' book. Haven't yet listened to the audio CD, but I am looking forward to it. I hope the next installment introduces the 'Booth' and some of the other artifacts in it. It's cool to see your wall mural 'come to life'.

Very cool guys, glad you're liking it so far. I hope the audio CD blows you away! *anxiously awaiting more feedback*

Just remember, the book is a summarized text of the audio, so there is plenty in the audio that is not written in the book.....

I got mine today (actually I probably received it earlier, I just haven't checked my mail in a few days, lol). The quality of the book is amazing! Very, very well done, quite impressive, John. I'll give it a listen tonight and report back tomorrow... I'm really excited to listen to the cd.
