- Warning: Ram Controls selling on ebay

Negative
I've heard that they are not that great.

A prominent CO guy got one before knowing who Travis was and said he did not like it, so much so he just went with a standard jamma harness.
UPDATE: I was informed the Dig Dug cabaret schematics do not show an interlock switch (there it is in black and white). While I would have sworn my two previously owned original Dig Dug cabarets had it, the schematics don't show it. I'm a big enough man to admit I'm wrong, so please disregard my previous thoughts. That said, the lack of the interlock switch wiring was the only concern I had with the repro Dig Dug cabaret wiring harness, since the rest of the build was good.

I'm pretty sure I inadvertently bought a repro Dig Dug cabaret wiring harness from him three+ years ago. After reviewing it, I discovered the power switch section of the power harness was incomplete and did not include the backdoor interlock switch wiring. The use of a backdoor interlock was consistent across countless Atari golden age games, so I am confused how this got missed. I was able to fix the issue, but I should not have needed to. Just my $0.02.

Sadly, Adam is not the only member to have accepted money for services, parts for repair, etc., then disappeared.

I've actually had two people in the last two weeks mention issues to me related to vector harnesses they bought from Travis. (i.e., issues they had getting their games to work properly, that were due to incorrect things about the harness.)

Also, you may want to provide some form of proof that you are who you say. Not a Facebook page, something verifiable. We have no way of knowing you aren't just another alias of his at this point, as he's had many, going back many years.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but given the circumstances, it isn't. You're an unknown person, with no history in this community, coming here saying you're going to sell products from a known criminal who has stolen from people here.

Andrew,

Several points and then I will drop this, as I'm not going to continue to bang my head into a wall.

1) I DIDNT come here and advertise...I was called out and hopped on to explain and do damage control, because people clearly had the wrong idea about who I was...that chafes me, but it happened so I reacted. I explained, that's all.

2) It is very EASY to establish who I am in difference to another, if someone were to take an actual interest in establishing facts, rather than relying on speculation. Unlike Travis, a number of the community in central Florida know where I live, have met my wife & kids. I cant do anything about the new member status, I joined years ago, but it was reset apparently. The date of joining shows 2016, awful long time for a new member.

3) I knew about RAM controls, but only in passing. I knew the story of how they ripped people off, and I thought it sucked too, but that very unfortunately happens and has happened a LOT in the hobby..When it was explained to me that Travis wasn't RAM, but simply a maker, that seemed reasonable to me. I accepted it, because most commonly people that are out to scam others, aren't usually talented at much else, which is why they scam. I won't argue this point, but I will say that everything I purchased arrived, so I had no reason to believe it wasn't on the level - I bought parts and I received parts....end of story.

4) You say the parts I have have blood on them, because I purchased from someone you are calling a thief, which automatically makes me evil as well in your eyes. Excuse me, are those Nike you are wearing? Eat anything grown by Monsanto? Carry an iPhone? Take a Bayer Aspirin? Will you take the COVID Vaccine produced by Pfizer? Shopped at Walmart lately? Use Amazon? Shave with Gillette? Eat at McDonald's or Denny's?

If you do, even once, you have inadvertently supported human trafficking, Nazi War Crimes, Active Slavery, Scamming, and outright thievery, as well as many, many other crimes. Congratulations... you're evil too by your own logic.

You may successfully consider your witch burned...have a nice day!

Yep, we know he has multiple account created throughout the years and just jumps from one to another when discovered.

*Edit: and only posts being two new member introductions a few months apart is a bit sus.
Only if one doesn't make it a habit of hanging out here. I don't know you either. I only showed up because I was called out and a friend saw it and pointed me here. How would you feel if someone on a forum you joined but barely visited asked you to prove who you were? I'll tell you what...next time youre in Orlando or we are both at an auction, we can settle the matter of my identity over a pint. Real human here. 😆

i think you're fine Dan. Ignore the white horses and crusades, i really don't think they apply to you. Not everyone in the hobby comes to Klov..not everyone knows of ram controls.. I'd sell the ram stuff you have left elsewhere, and just not buy it again. I wouldn't expect you to "eat" hundreds of dollars in product, i'd off it and lesson learned.

Before the Internet decides to run of half cocked, allow me to set the record straight here...I AM ARCADEGAME.TECH! My name is Dan Hall, and I am a well known long time collector of arcade games here in Orlando, FL. I am *NOT* RAM Controls, and I am *NOT* Travis. Travis and I have never met in person. I have purchased, just like any number of people have, a number of items from Travis to help bolster my own product line, and launch a classic arcade restoration site, Arcadegame.tech, that I will open soon.

I AM ALSO DEALING WITH OTHER REPRO, MOD MAKERS AND DESIGNERS.

My general concept for this small part of my business is that I will carry a number of his (and others) more popular items in stock, and ONLY sell what's in stock now...I do not do preorders, or take money for "when items come back in".

For those interested in identifying me as a real human, you can find me easily on Facebook.

For those of you that go on Facebook, you can find me frequently on the Poor Score Arcade Collectors group.

You can also find an older page of mine floating around, Dan's Pinball Mods and Design.

Again, not Travis, just a customer of his, just like many of you.

-Dan

You own too much RAM inventory to not understand what you were buying. Guilt by association. Good luck with your business.

May I ask who banned Dan and why? I can't stand ram controls and i'm fully aware Travis is in fact Ram Controls. In this case, the banning of a long time well known user is a bridge too far simply because they made the mistake of buying from a toolbag. This should be undone.

Brian - if you vouch for this person, I will absolutely unban the account. He needs to understand that all of that RAM controls products cannot be sold through here even through PM. If we catch wind that he is indeed selling that crap here, he will be removed.

I have been a member of klov for nearly 20 years and known Dan longer. He's a good guy that doesn't really get too into the day to day 'klov' world that much just trying to make a living during these goofy times. He is a long time friend of mine, a real person and resident of Orlando. I wouldn't read too much into the ram connection, especially not in the form of scamming on Dan's behalf and i'm pretty sure the 'no ram' message has been sent loud and clear. Hard is it is for me to believe, there are people out there that don't really know or follow the twisted tales of Ram and in this case I feel a good person got snared. I usually don't get involved in this stuff and I *definitely* have my eye on Travis/Adam/Ram/what the heck ever he calls himself these days :)

This is why I mention making the "No Ram Controls to be sold" thread being stickied. I had to purposely look for it and even then, I found it buried in another thread which is only referencing the sales ban and not related to an outright ban of sales.

Even when I did read that thread the first time, it was found accidentally in an unrelated search. Since then, the search function has proven to be ineffective regarding specific relevant searches.

I don't question the ban of the product sales but I do feel that warning needs to be readily apparent to people who are unaware of this.

Thank you. Your word has a lot of weight and I am glad you came here to clear this mess up.

The question I would ask is how is it that someone who has been around for so long not know about ram controls?
Seems like he knew who he was getting in bed with.

The rule is now listed in the stuck thread in the for sale forum.

Andrew summed it up. Adam Judd goes back 20yrs ago to the r.g.v.a.c. usenet forum - he and his wife scammed people back then. He has been here (and banned) under multiple alias, and is now known and quite popular on FB as Travis Reynolds, but has to work under a fake name. Weird for someone who has been in the hobby that long, huh?

I still want to know who made these websites:

If you have some time to kill, and want to read how the Travis alias was exposed:

There are a lot of people who buy from him who a)don't care, b)don't know, c)don't want to believe it's the same guy if they're told. There are plenty of reputable people in this hobby that give a damn, and care about their reputation, that don't want anything to do with the guy, unless he makes amends, pays people back, and uses his real name and photo on social media.

good detective work! and your websites confirmed the photo i got is indeed the same dude (i wasn't sure at first)!

Yeah, I've seen several, not that shot yet. Guy is super careful about putting his real pictures online.

I still wanna know, when he was on here a couple of years ago selling the 720 controller, as user GF323, is this also him? I think so, with glasses and a cap to throw people off:
