According to the manual, pinout, etc there is a 22 volt (DC?) input on pin 3 on the main Warlords PCB. What is this 22 volts for? Maybe I've missed something obvious but I can't find a reference to it on the schems (but I am damn tired right now so maybe that's why!).

Thanks

The +/-22VDC on Atari boards is usually used to derive the +/-15V for the high score save. Since Warlords doesn't have a high score save, the +/-22V outputs from the AR-II are not used.

Thanks, was wondering if it had something to do with high score saving, which begs the question - why was it put on the wiring diagram and pinout? Was it by mistake?

Does Warlords share the same pinout with any other Atari games?

I don't see it on the main wiring diagram. I'm looking at the 1st printing. It's on the AR-II pinout, but I don't see it anywhere else. The AR-II was used on many different Ataris of that era.

Not the ARII but the game board itself.

The wiring diagram and schems I have are: Warlords Cocktail DP-177

I didn't find that one on arcarc. I'm looking at DP-175. Do you have a link for DP-177?

Ok the -175 is upright and -177 is cocktail. TM-175 calls out the main pcb as assembly A036434-01 and -02. I can't find TM-177 to download, but it does exist. If you find it I bet it will call out the same assembly numbers for the pcb. I have the -01 here and J20 pin 3 is a no-connnect.

So, probably just a schematic oversight by Atari. :)
