Warehouse raid

The Joust marquee is the best I've seen. No scratches. I had one that was in bad condition so I might keep that.

That's cool. My marquee is pretty nice already, but I just want one for the wall also, so I really don't need the marquee. The bezel, I really do need. Mine is bubbled (silkscreen separated from the glass in places).

Sucks about your car. The guy didn't offer you a discount or anything for messing up your car?

I don't really see a normal fire button on this game. With the happy Caterpillar art I would have to think it is the Phi version.

Yeah even If It was, I wouldn't take chances. I would get as many parts from it as I could. Even the waterlogged parts.

There's some cool stuff I salvaged... I was surprised how nice this backglass was:

Yea, it's definitely not a Centipede clone. At first I thought it was some home made game.

So did you get it? If you can salvage enough parts, perhaps you could put together one of the few working cabinets of that game.

But I really doubt that the electronics will work.

There are actually a lot of parts that are worth saving. The coin doors, the monitor, probably the bezel and the marquee and possibly the boards from the Stargate, not to mention some of the more obscure hardware pieces, the metal lock plates, the metal mounting plates for the interlocks, possibly even the wiring harness.

How far are you from Houston? I might be willing to drive over to help you check out the carnage.

That Mario Bros wide body has a lot of sought after parts on it. The marquee, the CP and bezel are all unique to that one, so they would be worth grabbing. As well as the same parts from most of those games. Even if they are rough, someone will want them.

Monitors can be worth it to. Some people will pay decent cash for the tubes alone. If you can confirm they work, you can get more

I'm also curious, where is this at?

I don't think that's a Mario wide body, wrong color, wrong marquee.

I could use a nintendo kong coin door.

The guy says he's going to find me a new bumper. Usually I stress about stuff like that, but lately I've been trying to not get upset about things, so I was pretty cool even though, yea, my nice SUV now has a rear bumper bashed in. However, the whole front of his heavy duty Chevy truck is seriously messed up. He definitely took more damage than me.

Some of the bezels were in bad shape but I'll see what I can do.

I did snag the Mario Bros bezel and it's in REALLY nice condition, then I went to take a picture of it and noticed someone had scratched "ronaLD" in the middle of it. @#&@^@* stupid kids! The silk-screening is perfect except for that stupid scratch.. I wonder if that can be buffed out?

I got some of the parts. As I mentioned before, there was a wild animal inside the Phoenix cabinet, so we all decided to split for the day and come back later when the occupants had moved out. It's not worth having to take rabies shots - I can deal with the snakes and the spiders, but when a video game is hissing at you, it's time to back off.

hi,

I'm interested in the spiderman backglass. Also the playfield
If the machine isn't salvageable or if you are going to keep it.
I would maybe take the whole game from youif it's cheap enough
I don't care if it's trashed. I've wanted a project pin for awhile now.

Send me some pics if you can.

Thanks

how bad is the defender cocktail

It was falling apart unfortunately. It was probably completely immersed in water for several weeks.

Since there appears to be a reasonable amount of interest in these remnants, I will try to get as much as I can and post pictures of what I salvage.

woah. That Stargate has seen better days. Looks like the Titanic sinking. LOL.

I'm wondering if you're going to try and make a google sketch up of that or not :) Title it "Oh the humanity!"

My two cents, I'd grab everything you can. Take all of the cabs & pins home(if you've got the room), then start digging into them. As others have said, a lot of the parts could be sold off, so why not make deals to those people, and in turn make some cash? You can always toss the cabs if they are that far gone.
