Warehouse raid today!!!!!!

I would be up for going if I had more than a days notice.

You are retired, how much notice do you need? I'll take you up there anytime, just let me know when. I got my eye on a Whitewater. You were asking about a Captain Fantastic pin, he has a nice one for $1,200.

Yes I am, and my "Honey Do" list seems to have multiplied by 10.

You could always make it the "Honey I'll do it later list....".

I'd be up to go again sometime. There were alot of boxes of stuff and maybe, just maybe some of the boardsets from the cabs that were coverted may be there. - Barry

That is true, there are boxes full of old PCBs, the vendor has no mental inventory on them. You could offer X dollars for an entire box. I see that you are enjoying the Nintendo bezels. Who is going to rescue the Paperboy and Spyhunter? He has a Paperboy control panel and Spyhunter boards that come with. I think the pool tables are free.

I've had a ton of PM's on the bezels and really hadn't try to sell any yet. I'm going to keep some for myself and move the rest to cover the cost of the other stuff. If I had room for a pool table I'd be all about it. - Barry

Yea but which one of us really wants to try and load a pool table :(

LOL, I might be down for a free pool table! :D
I know I already have one but if I could find a better one, hell, why not?

I could also use the Paperboy control panel and handlebars, mine are loose there is a bracket busted. Did it still have the medium resolution 19" monitor in there? What was that System II cabinet converted to, I can't remember...

Actually on second thought, I don't want to go thru the hell of loading a pool table around through my backyard on its side... let alone TWICE to get rid of the old one! I'm good on the pool table, but could use those Paperboy parts for sure!

When all of those WWII vets keel over, we should take over the Moose Lodge and fill it with coin-op stuff. Mmm, wholesale beer.

Good thinking on the pool table. I have no idea about the Paperboy questions. Jump into your mileage machine and come on up.

I'd love the whole paperboy but can't make it up there probably for 2+ weeks due to the move. If I knew I was getting the paperboy I'd be totally up for the trip. Might want a pool table too, and who knows what else?

Just so you know Shanman, the PB/Sys II cabinet has been Jammatized, but there is a control panel there that I remember seeing.

just in case anyone was really worried that the Gorf was going to get parted, i picked it up (along with the Taito) in trade for a Sanyo 20-Z2AW.

i've already begun sourcing parts to de-convert the cabinet, and overall it's in nice enough shape that i doubt i'll do a full restore (got plenty of other cabs that need a lot more attention.) oddly enough, a local collector just put up a bunch of stuff for sale that includes a bunch the items i need, including both AC and DC harnesses, audio amp/control PCB, and the power supply PCB.

i think the Taito is destined for Bubble Bobble. it would be Arkanoid but i just picked up another free, almost empty Taito cab for that project. both cabs are solid but need a good sanding and repaint.

Dude, that Taito is a green JUNGLE KING. The serial tag is on the back and the graphics are under the cheap black paint. Gorf rules too. I wish that I needed more projects.

i'll see if i can get the paint off, but considering my past failures it ain't likely.

i just looked up the gameplay on KLOV and yeah, i remember Jungle King (or Hunt.)

i disliked it in the same way i kinda hated Congo Bongo... too derivative of other games without the charm.

but if you've got another Taito cab for me to Bubble Bobble-ize, i'd be happy to trade you this one. :)

oh, and since the Taito is JAMMAtized and i don't have a Bubble Bobble pcb at the moment anyway, i'll probably just use it for some of my horizontal JAMMA games until i get around to the project.

If that paperboy is still available i might be interested. I have a complete boardset, power supply and wiring harness I have been saving for a good cabinet. Has the cabinet been painted or does it look origonal also does anyone know how much it is....Thankyou...Dave
