Thanks to Freebeer, I got to go on my first warehouse raid today. Freebeer, Timbre and I headed about an hour north to a small warehouse. Freebeer has known the guy for years and He was pretty nice. I was hoping for some Nintendo parts and there were no cabs, but I did get a couple sanyo monitors in jammatized cabs and a bunch of bezels. I didn't get any pics of the warehouse since I didn't know the owner and didn't want to piss him off in any way, but here are some pics of what I ended up with. - Barry

Wow, nice selection of Nintendo bezels!

Yeah, I was suprised how many there were. 2 of the DK are the original 2 piece bezels. With some polish most of these will look great, but I will be selling most of them. - Barry

pm'ed again just realized you had a bunch of bezels! Brett

That Gorf cab looks like it is in really good condition. Would make for a good resto.

It looks like you managed to get plenty of nintendo bezels as well!

Yup.. pretty cool morning. The guy was really nice. I ended up with a touchmaster, extra monitor and a fairly nice shape Championship sprint. Freebeer was cool and followed me home to drop off the Sprint.

Now to try and get my other touchscreen working and sell a pin so I can go buy a couple other things from him up there.

I am going to end up kicking myself for not buying the sprint, but at least it went to a good home. I creeped all the way home with that stuff making an awful howling noise in the wind. Suprisingly though it was easy to unload by myself. - Barry

Right on guys, looks like a great haul! Went up there with Freebeer a while back, had some used to be great game conversion cabinets and he was a cool guy. I think everyone got something that day and the pricing was more than fair. Nice to see he didn't open it on up on craigslist this time!! :p

I really am not a Gorf fan and I'm just going to end up selling and/or trading the cab since there really isn't much of any Gorf stuff left inside. - Barry

the outside of that cab is pretty nice, though. the art on the front of the control panel, especially.

Yeah, that piece and the bezel are pretty nice. The cab overall is very nice, the control panel is all hacked up though. - Barry

I've got a question and with all those DK bezels figured you might be in the best position to answer.

Do the original, 2 piece bezels have the white "copyright 1981 Nintendo" text on the bottom right. I know the early marquees and control panels did not, just not sure about the bezels.

They do not have the copyright text. - Barry

PM sent on the MB widebody bezel...

Nice haul, by the way. It never ceases to amaze me just how much NOS stuff is out there for 25 year old machines.

There still are a couple left. I looked real hard at a painted PacMan and a Super Pac. Also there is a converted spy hunter and paperboy. Might have to make another trip when the bankroll (ie wife) allows.

Also a couple of pins that I wouldn't mind having for fairly good prices
