Come On, I have never seen a twilight zone go for less than 3k.A non working, missing parts, damaged TZ goes for an average of 2300.00Meh, that Twilight Zone is far from collector quality. Judging by the missing paint, various scrapes, and what I can see of the playfield, he's looking at more like a low $2000's Twilight Zone there, if working.
Damn you lucky Texans and your gigantic foreign country, you have everything from ultra-retail to hillbilly barn loads. And I see an awful lot more of the hillbilly barn loads.

Well,I guess its all based upon where you live and where you look and in this money tight economy some people need money and need it fast and willing to just sell their TZ real cheap.Geez, your area really sucks. Sounds like New York or LA pricing. I have personally passed on, in the past year : a $2800, $2650, $3200, and a $2400. The $3200 one being a busted-up pile of parts (auction), and the $2400 one being the nicest (local pinhead). A typical mostly home-used, well cared-for unit. Maybe some people pay more for Chinese add-on toys, but as you know, I pay less
Never less than 3K? Move. Today.
Cool.
Ok, next question:
Is this former operator thinking he's sitting on a gold mine, and are you helping him fix up and sell stuff, or is it being sold as is to get rid of it?
The reason I ask: I recently talked to a former operator who had about 10 games they wanted gone so he could quit paying storage. He had among other things an Asteroids with no monitor. Of course, it "works" but he has no electricity to plug it in, no monitor so I can't verify the X/Y output is good (assuming I get sound), etc. And he wants $650 for it because he says "it looks good" and "that's what they go for".
There are a few things I'm interested in, but I'm not going to pay $500 for a PP cockpit that has suicided, or $400 for an Asteroids that isn't working 100%...

I got mine, fully working with a little cab fade for $2250 from a local collector... *shrug*.
If it helps some of you guys in the north part of Texas im willing to to help in any way i can. Ill be more than happy to go down there and pic up a few games and store them in my garage untill you can get down to the Austin area (this is where im at). It will cut down on the driving you would have to do plus id really like to see these get out to the collectors out there and im sure the more we buy the better the prices will be.
