I went to a warehouse were a arcade dist. was clearing out a bunch of projects. When I got there I noticed 2 beat to shit pick ups leaving loaded with games(obvious scrappers). So I parked and quickly got inside. Found a hoard of scrap metal collectors wheeling games out. So I quickly told the guy in charge I am here to SAVE the games NOT scrap them, and started pointing out what I wanted and he also took me into some of the hard to get to places to show me games, that were complete, and just needed some love to get working. But I would need to take a couple of the dozen gutted Golden Tees/large cabs taking up room. I ended up getting: Golden Tee(missing monitor), Revolution X(missing control panel),Under Fire (missing guns and PCB), San Fran Rush(needs mother board),Adams Family(needs vibrator motor),2X Quick&crash(both need gun adj.), Star Wars(missing most PCBs). I GOT ALL THIS FOR FREE!! There was a ton I had to leave behind as I don't even have room at home for what I had gotten. The sale continues tomorrow from 10am-3pm at 225 parson st, Kalamazoo MI
There were several nice working sit down racers from $100-$300 an some working big games that use projection screens for around $100/offer. Plus several nice pool tables and air hockey's for around $600-$900 plus many FREE cabs.

No classics, mostly stuff from around mid 90's.?.? Lots of gutted Golden Tees, complete projection games, sit down racers, and 33-39" monitor "deluxe games", and project dart & crane games.

When I left (about 45 min before closing) they had 3-4 nice Arachnid games in free area, but were missing the dart boards. I think there were 3-5 more in the storage area that I could not see there condition.

Any more Revolution x? I might have to get there and see if he still has and of the dart boards.

Sorry no more Rev. X( I took it strictly for the monitor), there are still deals/freebes. As the only collector that showed up I do admit I cherry picked, I did my best to save what I could. If you do show up, they loosen up if you take at least 1(free)gutted Golden Tee/ large game, and let them know you are looking to restore/re-purpose a game.

I would not think there would be enough metal in one of these for a scrapper to mess with, the thought of someone scrapping these to get a few bucks for the metal makes me sick.

Agreed, every time I saw them wheel a game out it made me sick. I kept thinking someone is looking for that game or parts from that game.

Hey Mr Sodapop any chance you would be interested in selling that Golden Tee cab? It looks like it might be a convered Wrestlefest cab and I've been after one to add to my collection. If you are interested, could you see if it has any tags on it that confirm what it was or pics of the underside of the panel? It would have been 4 players 2 buttons each setup. Here's a pic of another KLOVers machine.

Son of a bitch I just drove through that area a few hours ago coming home from dropping a game off. Just my luck. Oh well i don't have room for anything right now. Glad to hear you scored and saved some games

I will check it out later today, if it is what you want I will gladly sell it for what I payed-Free.
In case any body wants them, I also want to get rid of the Revolution X (after I remove monitor), and Star wars trilogy(after I remove monitor).

Awesome! I really appreciate it. Looks like you got some good stuff out of there and of course saving it from being scrapped is great. :)

I picked up two dart boards from him today. I found a couple of signs also. I will post picks later. I found a arm wrestling game but he did not want to get rid of it. He still has a ton of the golden t cabs. If anyone wants to contact him he does have a store and he told me he has 100s of game boards Star World Amusement www.starworldamusement.com He is a very nice guy. They do have a Hydro Thunder for $300 obo I was very tempted.

Mrsodapop since you have been there I thought I would ask you. There was a shooting game there it was a big orange machine about the size of the air hocky and it also had a bar that want arcross the top with a sign on it. Do you rember what that was? The told me you guys cleaned him out yesterday.

I just called the guy and the game is cool gunmen. Anyone heard of it? I looked it up on you tube and it looks cool.

That Adams Family looks really cool. He had another one like that with a skeleton on it but did not want to get rid of it.

WOW! Nice find........
I never find out about this kind of stuff till it's to late. But when I do find good stuff, I always call my friends and take them along. :)
