I have been looking for fully working Space Invaders PCBs for a while. My SI cab is sitting in my basement with dead boards and I know someone has an extra set on a shelf somewhere!
Please let me know if you can help me out.

Thanks,

Wick

I found elektron forge but I was hoping to find a better deal on klov. It's a Midway Cabinet, the game is in great cosmetic shape but the last owner soldered wires to the board so the old board is trashed.

Thanks,

Wick

when you do get new boards lmk id like your old ones..

i got the other guys boards mentioned above at the beginning of the post, but theyre so far gone they are not salvagable, not even for parts.

so lmk man! i could definately use yours for parts (if they arent corroded)

if i wasnt so damn poor right now i would also just buy a $150 set....

I am troubleshooting a set of deluxe boards right now. I am getting a ROM test chip made so hopefully, I'll have this set working again. So far I found some bad sound chips, and I am waiting for the test chip, to test the memory. Which is the most common problem with these boards. I already ordered some memory chips and a new 8080 cpu chip from Arcadechips.com. So hopefully this weekend when everyones have fun at the BBQ, I'll be soldering memory chips on the Space Invaders boards....

then after that I have another Deluxe board set I want to try to get working again. Need to stop stealing parts it now.....LOL

My current working set, I found has a Hum on the sound board I want to get rid of.

A good reference site to goto is:
http://www.brentradio.com/SpaceInvaders.htm

Alot of good info on fixing these boards, and he is a member on this forum.

well hell i wish brent would have chimed in earlier..

i have a very very simular issue on my boards...

i wonder hoew much those ram chips are?

Well, I just have all of that info archived, I really don't know anything about it.

I would recommend getting a set from Mark or Alex at elektronforge.com

Price is about the same and you know they will be working right.

Either way, get the multi kit from arcadeshop.
