Wanted: Williams 1942... articles and advertising...

would anyone have a copy of any coin op magazines that contains articles or advertising about the Williams 1942 kits or game ?

recently a coin op magazine was sold on ebay which contained an article about Williams 1942 the game.

tha magazine would have been around 1983 or so ? and 1942 was specifically listed on the front cover if i recall correctly.

i'll have to try and find the advert again from ebay in the meantime.

just kicking myself that i missed the auction for that magazine!

found the magazine reference:

PLAY METER MAGAZINE 5/1/85 articles listed include WILLIAMS 1942
VIDEO GAME

EDIT: to be more specific, from the KLOV PlayMeter holdings list, this should be one of these two
  1. Vol. 11, No. 8 --- May 1, 1985 [2]
  2. Vol. 11, No. 9 --- May 15, 1985
RePlay Magazine May 1985 may have a new product article on williams 1942

Edit: other months during 1985 also make reference to romstar/capcom 1942 as well! so interested iin those too!

Looking for scanned copies of any and all articles, adverts and references primarily for Williams 1942 & but will also be happy to get articles, adverts and references for romstar/capcom 1942 .

Hi Andy.

Don't have any ads, but it is good to see you are still alive and kicking. :fing02:

My 1942 stalled out. I have half a wiring harness somewhere in my office and some other bits n pieces (including 1 Wiliams and at least 1 Capcom/Romstar boardset). But haven't had the time to try finishing it up and tossing it in a cabinet yet.

gidday ken! keep goin on that 1942, as i have just picked up where i left of on the work reproing the cpo (occassional nudges from theshanman helps keep me motivated-thanks jeff!:D)

I might've thought you died if it weren't for seeing that you started logging into klov again. :p Someone's gotta get this project done because the pac cab that my 1942 is currently in is a horrible host ergonomically. I don't know how much longer I can take it! I'm counting on you, man!
