WTB/WTTF: assorted pc-10 and vs.

Hi all,
I recently acquired a red tent and have been bitten by the nintendo bug. I'm hoping someone here can help me with my last few nintendo wants. I'm mainly after the vs. stuff but any of the following playchoice titles would be welcome.

Wanted:

PC-10:
Balloon Fight
Castlevania
Mega Man 3
Metroid
Ninja Gaiden III
Solar Jetman

PC-10 mobo (Single Monitor Version)

You're probably best going to someone like Steph @ www.hobbyroms.com for the Vs. Balloon Fight chips as I don't know anyone who has "real" Nintendo chips for this game. Steph can burn them for you then all you'd need is a pcb to put them on, 2 cpu's and 2 ppu's. You can check www.johnsarcade.com to verify which other game's PPUs will work with Vs. Balloon Fight. Vs. Ice Climber is also a tough one to find although it is out there. I got lucky and got a set of those chips when I picked up my dualsystem. I wasn't too into the game at first but it has grown on me to the point that I recently acquired a blue Nintendo cab, had it turned into a Unisystem cab and it is going to be dedicated Vs. Ice Climber... just need to find a topper for that one. The Vs. Castlevania, unfortunately, runs on a daughter board so you can't just have those chips burned for you. I have seen that one out there more commonly that Vs. IC even but you've got to be quick as that one tends to sell fast.

Good luck!

with the vs games on the daughter board's, would someone be able to use the goonies board and just swap the chips to ice climber?

IC isn't on a daughter board. Castlevania though, I don't know. I don't believe so though. Even just looking at the chip layout of the two daughter boards on johnsarcade (http://www.johnsarcade.com/nintendo_vs_ppu_info.php) you can see that those aren't even the same. I would assume you need each individual daughter board for it to work correctly.

John tried this with Sky Kid. Wanted to use the Sky Kid board to make Super Xevious, but it didnt work. Reason being, each daughter board has a special security chip, preventing this. Answer is: No.
