Hey gang,

If anyone has some un-needed millipede parts laying around I can use a bunch of stuff. I have a pretty nice cabinet with intact side art that was painted over. Such a shame to see a nice old cab like this gutted, but that's what they did to her. Only things left are the power supply and a few bits of wiring. I need the following to try and bring her back to life:

Millipede PCB main board
Audio/regulator board
Control panel, populated preferred, or not
Main wiring harness

I'm planning on having to buy new CPO & Marquee repros. from ArcadeShop.

I can find a lot of this stuff on ebay, but it's all so expensive it'd be cheaper to buy an intact machine...obviously that's not what I'm after here. The whole point is to bring this one back to life. So if you have any of this and can part with it fairly cheap, let me know. Here's our sad ole gal...

Nasty black paint...fortunately they used latex, and didn't sand it or use an aggressive primer, so it's coming off fairly easily.

CP is hacked to hell, full of holes. I guess it's possibly to restore this one, but I don't have a welder, and getting a new CP is probably the best bet regardless. Oh, and look at the gigantic monitor they crammed in there. You couldn't put a back panel on if you wanted, the frame sticks out of the back!

And finally...what a hot mess. Still...I think she can be saved...

Hoping we can eventually move this over to the restoration forum.

Update: So far I've managed to source a wiring harness, ARII, and main board. Thanks for the quick replies guys...too cool!

Still need a control panel if anyone turns one up. I'll also need either a marquee overlay & glass, or just the whole thing if someone finds one of those on a trashed cab or something. Otherwise I figure I'll rebuild this one...the frame is intact, but the glass is fragmented & the overlay is rough.

Thanks again for the interest & help!

Maybe but in my experience, Millipede's have not come up very often for whatever reason. Most I have seen are very rough anyways, so it's just a matter of how much one appreciates the beauty of this particular cabinet, which I personally most certainly do. Plus Millipede is my second most favorite game of all time to actually play.
