I've been having a difficult time finding the chd files for the golden tee series games. I've got a few boards I'm helping a friend test, most of the hard drives are dead. Does anyone have any CHD files or know of a good torrent with the chd files?

Any help would be appreciated.

CHDs

This has come up quite a few times in the past several months. It sure would be nice if KLOV itself had storage for stuff like this.

To be specific what SW version of GT do you have? 2004 reg 7 course, 2004 complete, 2005 reg, 2005 complete and version number?

I have a couple GT boards, but I haven't made an image of any of them yet. It's on the 'to do' list.

Someone needs to dump these damn CHD's for sure. I would be willing to host an FTP upload for the images (I have a Verizon FIOS business account) but I hate when people dissapear and so does the work. So what I'm wondering is if we obtain these images will Pleasuredome allow these or is there a MAME rule as to how old a game has to be before they'll post it? If PD would take them I'll take on the rest of the work you guys just get them in my hands.

I have probs findin the megatouch series CHD's. I made a CHD for the Midway Infinity.

I agree it would be nice for us to pull our roms and chd's together.

Well here's another thought. I could provide a hosting service for these things. A person would drop me an email. I'd create an FTP account for them giving access to what they need that'd be active for 48 hours (in case server was getting hammered).

Charge $10 you get what you need and the $10 is simply for my time - not the CHD :)
And also I wouldn't want to host ANYTHING that's already being offered on the "other" rom sites ..... there's no point of it.

If I were to ever want to stop doing this I'd make a public announcement and whom ever wanted to take it over I'd burn DVD's and mail it to them. Like I mentioned before alot of people come and go and alot of info is lost through time.

I'm sure someone will say, "Well why not just use Rapidshare or Megadownloads?" Beat you to the punch smart asses. Because lack of activity on an item will result in it being purged. Don;t quote me but I think they purge anything untouched over 30 days. ;)

And the last time I hosted a CHD I had people crawling out of the wood work asking for an account and then asking for technical support. And instead of grabbing what they actually needed they whore downloaded everything sitting there. I don;t feel $10 for a download is too much to ask. Business accounts aren;t free ya know ;)

Ohh no, I wasn't bitching about a fee :) I was just stating I would do it free if I still had my DSL. I hate ISP that have a cap on usuage.

So I am trying to make a chd of my golden tee 2005 hard drive. making it is not a problem the problem is that this drive is 80 gigs and 69 of that is unallocated space on the drive that is not needed in the chd. is there anyway to tell chdman to just grab the first 3 partitions and not the unallocated aria?

I have probs findin the megatouch series CHD's.

I have the contents of a Megatouch XL Titanium that I've used to create a drive for mine with.
Can I use chdman to create this CHD everyone keeps refering to ?
Right now it's just a folder and you dump the entire contents to a formatted drive and it's done.

I made a CHD for the Midway Infinity.

I have an Infinity as well with a noisy drive. I know the format for that one is a little different, some odd FATx or Linux version or something if I recall.
Did you use chdman and an original drive to create your CHD ?

I really need to sit down and play with chdman I guess, I know I've asked about it off and on before, but never really "needed" to use it.

There is a site 'MAME GURU' That has great explination to CHD. You take the orininal drive to the PC. Don't convert/format or anything else. You use CHD and it images the entire drive structure. <-- If wrong, that is why Mame Guru is place to explain it :)

ok back on topic.. does anyone have any? I think I've got an 05 image heading my way in the mail this week.. I'd be more then happy to send it around to anyone else needing it.

I have the 2005 at home, who ever wants to host it, pm me an ftp address and i'll get it there in the next day or so.

Now who ever has the megatouch xl platinum with the cracked security, I need that one.
