i've recently aquired a deco tomahawk 777 cabinet which i'm going to convert into a multi-deco system!

because tomahawk 777 will then be removed from the cab entirely, i'm looking for one of those generic deco system marquees to fit the bezel perfectly. here's the best picture i could find, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about (if not, it's the one with the sticker on it)!

so if you have one of those marquees for sale, please please please get in touch with me.

thx guys! :)

well, control panel and bezel look identical (although they could both have been shrunk for the mini, but i doubt it). IF someone comes around with a generic marquee, we can still do the measuring thing ...

my initial idea was to keep the exisiting marquee and just add a small sticker saying "multi deco system" (or something similar) on top of the tomahawk 777 logo.

but then i saw that photo of the generic marquee and thought it might fight the overall theme of the cabinet better. not sure what i'm going to do eventually, IF i manage to find one of those marquees i'll probalby remove the tomahawk 777 one, because it's no longer a submarine game once the conversion has been done.

i'll also need to design a new instruction card for the control panel and i was told i should add a second button because some deco games need one, but honestly the games i'm going to play the most are burger time, peter pepper's ice-cream factory and boulder dash - and those games only need one button or none, right?

additionally, where should i put the second button without damaging the overlay?

p.s.: this cabinet needs some serious cleaning and anti-rust treatment! ;)

I know what you mean. I made a list of the games, and the controls they supposedly use, so that I could decide what to do.

The donor cabinet I am using had a Deco Lucky Poker game in it. Here's the control panel overlay that was on it and I think I am going to use it. The clear spot in the center is where the multi-deco instructions will go.

The bezel was black so I bought this one off eBay because I like the theme and it matches the cpo. Still need to come up with a marquee but I am going to do one from scratch.

the bezel is identical to mine, what i like about the control panel is that it supports more than one button. is the hole to the right of the shoot button for a spinner? are there any deco games supporting spinners?

what are you going to put on the instruction card? how to operate the deco multi kit?

designing a marquee yourself is also a cool idea, curious to see what you come up with!

Yes... there is a rotating control on the cp where that hole is. I do not know how, or if, it was used because the game was non-working when I got it.. missing the tapes deck, cassette and dongle for the Lucky Poker game. I don't plan to use it as a spinner but I wanted to show you a layout that has the requisite number of holes you might need for any game.

Not sure about the instruction card yet... probably basic instructions on switching games, etc.
Same with the marquee... most likely the same pattern/colors as the bezel and then some lettering incorporating the DECO that's in the CPO and bezel already. I have a BT marquee I may use in the meantime. The Lucky Poker marquee is nice but doesn't fit the theme.
