WANTED: Atari 400/800 Games

Are you looking for any Atari 400/800 hardware. I have an Atari 1200 baud MODEM and manual, if interested.

Scott C.

Joining post. I bought the multicart but still curious about available titles.
I kept pacman galaxian and basic so far.

These could be available.

MULE is awesome... I haven't played it in years. I keep meaning to get one of my old Atari systems up and running To play MULE, Montezuma's Revenge, Shamus, Lode Runner, Caverns of Mars, Star Raiders, Zombies, Snokie, Wavy Navy, Super Bunny, and more.

what multi-cart? The only 800 game I play is MULE and wish I had some other interesting ones for it.

Go here. This guy makes some cool Multi-Carts. I have bought some for my max flex, but I have not used them.

I found a mule emulator for the pc and was playing it yesterday. Not sure why it has no sound. The place that had it also talks about mule returns but I could not download it.

it was easy to install on sd card, just dragged the bin files into the folder layout of my choice.
it is an fpga inside.
If I get a moment I'll record a little video of the menu.
I find it easy but I haven't shown it to the 5yr old grandson to get a real test of how intuitive it is to use.

You looking for carts or discs? I probably have 75 duplicate cart titles.

I don't think Sirius' Wavy Navy ever came out in cartridge form. Only cassette and floppy.
Average price for Wavy Navy on eBay is $20~50 easy all day err day. Sells super quick.
Quite the rare game, I'd buy one at any cost, maybe trade a lung for one? lol j/k

Same with Return Of Heracles game, super rare. Sells for $50~100+ instantly.

M.U.L.E. is one of the most sought after games of all 8-bit history, the floppy version sells
for $50-100, the cartridge alone is worth $75~250+ if you can even find a legit one!

Montezuma's Revenge is one the most game play factor of the bunch. Well worth every
single penny of $25-50 if you can even dare to be lucky enough to find the cartridge! :)

Shamus... never released on cartridge. floppy only, unsure of its value.

Lode Runner... $20-40, epic classic game. hours and hours of play! gold!

Caverns of Mars... no cart. never heard of this game. i better check YouTube! :)

Star Raiders... super common & boring game. worthless, sells for $1 everywhere.

Zombies... not released on cart. unsure of game and value. oh well.

Snokie... another weird rando game i have never heard of or played in my
lifetime, makes me wonder of its value and how badly i should watch youtube videos
of it and create an endless search for this on ebay and but every copy up at all costs
and flip them at 3-5x the cost for pure profitz! haha

Super Bunny... never came out in cart... worth anything? how's game play? yet
another game that somehow bypassed my youth when i was play 1,000+ games a month.

other Atari classic games (avail in cart) that you didn't list are...:

K-razy Antics (100% clone of the famous Ant Eater),
sells cheap for $10 on ebay 24/7... The real deal, Ant Eater cart sells for $50-75+

Ugh.. I'll just list the rest (too much to type, look up, etc - you do the work):
- Karateka ($50-100), a Jordan Mechner conversion! So much history! Do it!
- Archon II ($20)
- BC's Quest For Tires ($30+)
- Ballblazer ($10+), not as popular as the Atari 7800 version with the POKEY IC :)
- H.E.R.O. ($75-150+), no clue why this game costs so much, ppl are lame! lol
- Jumpman Jr. ($15), best game ever made of all time. 0% hyperbole here. 100% truth.
- Mario Bros ($60-100), not worth more than $10 in my opinion. so lame, screw mario!
- David's Midnight Magic ($10-25), best pinball game ever designed - 100% based off of 1980 Williams Black Knight pinball game! For real, no lies, do the google yourself!
- Miner 2049'er ($15-25), so good. so fun. buy this at all costs. even if your virtual life depends on it!
- Rescue On Fractalus ($20-30), meh. never got into this, but it was 20+ years ahead of its time during release, and kids flocked like mad sheep to play it. it was yawncore to me.
- Zork I, Zork II, Zork II, HHGTTG (avg $20-40 each): epic all-text adventures from Infocom, surprised these came on cart, I've never seen these in cart form in my lifetime.

If anyone has these for sale, I'll buy them for anything you quote me (yeah right, lol), but at least we can have a conversation about them for a good deal...:

- The Legendary Bruce Lee (hoping this is just the Bruce Lee game itself?), epic
- Star League Baseball - me and & brother played this game for 5 years straight, non-stop
- Zorro... so fun... so good... so calvin klein, gimme gimme!

In your list i would find these curious to pursue as they are so fun and great history-

Miner 2049er
Jumpman

Last year i was given a colecovision with a bunch of boxed games. One was montezuma. Never heard of it before but i gave it all to my friend who collects consoles and he was giddy.

I knew I was forgetting some....it has been years since I had my Atari stuff up and running.

I was a disk guy. I had some carts.... but mostly disk based stuff.

Have a number of originals, but as with the C64 crowd, back in the day I doubt there were many people into the old 8 bit games that didn't have some pirated titles.....

I did not distribute, but I personally cracked Seven Cities of Gold, M.U.L.E., the 2nd Zombies game (forget the name), moved and fixed (it was written for OSA, and did not use the proper system I/O vectors) Ghost Hunter (I have the original on tape, it was one of my first games for the Atari, when all I had was 410 tape 'storage'). I also figured out how to duplicate the random sector on Super Bunny using a small magnet :).

For me, the Atari is all about the fun and nostalgia since it was my first computer. So, game values mean little to me. I do pick up an original title from time to time when I run into them, but I don't "collect" per se. But I have seen the prices on the rise. The only thing I have bought lately is an XF551 (may need repair), and a 1200XL. I do need to get this stuff setup... that and the C64 stuff I have (which years ago a local friend sold me his entire C64/128 hoard for like 50).

It would be good of the moderators can move this to the correct section.

Also, to the OP, I might have a duplicate cart or two, and if I can unearth them I'll let you know what they are to see if you have any interest.... but most of my stuff was on Disk. You should consider getting an 810 or 1050 drive, as it will open you up to a world of good Atari titles that never were released in cartridge form.

best collection i've ever seen!

how is eastern front? i've never played it but it looks interesting.

those are my spares. I have like 150 carts for my personal collection.

I was just just thinking about eastern front when I was taking the pic. I remember having fun playing it and trying to capture moscow. had it surrounded, but could never get it(probably not possible). Its a chris crawford game.
