Want to trade a ton of stuff for a Stern Family Guy

Looking to trade a large portion of The Drewcade for a decent Family Guy. A little work is OK. But here goes nothing:

• Restored Williams SlugFest Pinball
• 8.5/10 Pac Man Upright W/Speed Chip
• 7/10 Williams Make Trax Upright
• 6/10 Donkey Kong Jr. Upright
• Clean Dell Latitude D610 15" Notebook, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth, DVD/RW, 80GB
• A brand new, factory sealed, 4th Generation 32GB Apple iPod Touch.
• X2 Fully Working 20GB 4th Generation iPod Classics
• And finally, my Entire collection of working and non-working boardsets and monitors, including:

[Working]
X2 Pac Man w/Speed Chip
Double Dragon
Terminator 2: Judgment Day CPU
Pole Position
Popeye
VS. ExciteBike
Neo Geo 1-Slot
X2 Fully Rebuilt Electrohome G07 Monitors
WG 19K4900 Monitor w/remote board
WG 19k7601 19" Chassis
WG 25K7101 25" Chassis
WG Medium-Res Tube w/low burn (no chassis)

[Non-Working/Not Tested]
Pole Position
X3 Centipede
X2 Pac Man
Donkey Kong
Konami X-Men
Time Pilot '84
Double Dragon
Satan's Hollow
Black Tiger
Sanyo 20EZ Monitor

And in all honesty, I have a butt-load of parts scattered everywhere, and you could name whatever else you wanted. Look up my older FS posts and have a shopping spree. Too much to list. But anyways, would ALL this get me at least a rough but working Family Guy? :D

I think you're better off selling all that stuff and saving up for it. You're biggest problem is timing. Any ops that weren't making money with them sold them already and any that lasted this long won't be cheap.

Also, I heard it from Gary Stermns mouth that they will never make any more, I think because over seas nobody knows what family guy is.

I was lucky to find one with a day 1 cliffy on the tv scoop and mint, but I had to ship it.

I've seen routed ones with blown out tv scoops for $3K, I've never seen one start with a 2, I think your looking at $3K-$3,300 for a route game, $3.5k+ for a really nice one.

A blown out scoop shouldn't deter anyone - once you put a Cliffy over it, you won't know the difference anyway. :)

You're not going to find anyone interested in half that stuff together, much less willing to trade a Family Guy for it. You should start selling all the stuff individually, you might come up with enough or nearly enough after that.

Well, yah, I have a cliffy over mine anyway. In terms of real wear, most I've seen don't have broken plastics, and besides the cab the tv scoop is really the only place it would wear. There is also a cliffy for the drunken clam hole, but I've never seen a game with a lot of wear there. I'm sure there is one though, but I didn't install that cliffy.

There's a FG at the bowling alley near me, and the plastic above the scoop is totally broken off. I would definitely recommend Pinbits' plastic protector kit for anyone w/ a FG (or any game, really!)

Nice thought in theory - but in reality not a chance in hell.
WARNING BLANKET STATEMENT:
Pinheads don't want vids let alone a bunch of vid parts. Just because someone owns pins or vids doesn't mean they know shit about them. Live and breathe that son, because it's the truth.

For example: I just traded a couple vids plus cash for a pin and the seller claimed all was working and only one bulb wasn't changed due to location. Well, this machine had a broken ramp that he claimed didn't effect game play (and it does and cost me $100 to replace), had the wrong shooter spring, I had to replace 23 bulbs and reflow solder on boards, replace a few flipper links, plungers, replace a solenoid, replaced 4 coil sleeves and adjust several switches. He truly had no clue of what he was talking about and the pf was/is filthy. When asked over the phone if any errors I was told no. showed up and bong bong bong. Saw the switch location and that's when I saw the ramp was so f'ed up a ball could never make it to that switch and the machine thought since it hadn't been activated in so long that there was an error. Once again I was lied to. I hope the dirty bastard reads this because it's a KLOV member - nice huh?

And FWIW - typically trying to trade vid stuff ends in misery because you'll get offers for C class games that are beat to hell and/or unpopular titles anyway.

As mentioned previously - sell your stuff and save for your FG.

was this like a long distance trade?

Probably a 1.5 hour drive is all. He brought the pin to my place and I loaded him up with two and cash to boot. Said done and over with I will be lucky to break even if I decide to sell/trade this pin.

Since Lindsey jumped in and said it - I totally agree. While I certainly will not claim to be the Guru of vids or pins, I can 95% of the time fix my own shit and because of the "do it yourself attitude" not only does a person get hands on experience but the amount of reading that you obtain "knowledge is power" certainly helps.

either way - to the original OP make it a standard rule of thumb that any pin you buy will coast you an additional $200. But then again IIRC you;re a single guy so you don;t need to justify your "allowance" like us married stiffs lol

I didnt expect anybody to jump on this deal, but hey, you never know :) At least nobody laughed at me like I expected!
