Well I just traded my non working wizard of wor cocktail for these wacko guts. Such a crazy cabinet but it's one I've been wanting for awhile. I was going to do a scratch build after my discs of tron but couldn't find the control panel parts or harness but i waited it out and got a surprise! I'll be getting a cabinet built if I can't find anyone with an original cabinet just laying around. The only thing that's worn out is the glass sadly but I'll be ordering one from Phoenix arcade and of course will need to replace the rollers on the track ball. I'm hoping to have this built by December. But all depends on when I can get a cabinet.

Anyone need this glass for a wacko? I don't think I'll be using it and going to order a new one from Phoenix arcade. I don't want to throw it away but I don't see any files for the art to be able to reuse it.

Good progress! Go for it! One Wacky Game!

Cant believe I'm going to ask this but...what's your ball polishing method?
Lol I used 800-3000 grit sand paper and since I can't find anything higher than 3000 around here I bought a buffing wheel with some plastic polisher to finish it off.

How were you able to sand evenly? Did you mount the ball in something? Or just hold it?

I just held it in my hands and sanded in circular motion till I saw it has been completely covered. And then for polishing I had a polishing wheel for my drill with some plastic polisher from harbor freight and it really shined it up.

Thanks for the detail! Will try this on a crappy millipede ball soon.

Yeah no problem. I briefly watched a few bowling ball cleaning methods. I haven't tried it on a non colored ball yet but gonna try it on a small one to see if I can get my marble madness balls shiny again too lol.

Got the new bearings and rods for the trackball and both joysticks are looking better.

Just got all of my wacko art from a buddy that bought it from TOG a few years back. I only will need to order the kickplate decal.

Ha, Kalan was the best player I knew . I am pretty good too. There are ways to point press, by intentionally creating 1/2 and 1/2 creatures.

Such a great game. Some of hte best sounds in arcade gaming history...without a doubt.

Totally ridiculous game that is really fun.
I've lost track of how many times I have considered building one myself out here.

Can't imagine there are many empty cabinets still left so I bet you will be getting the saws out!
