W.T.B. Liberator parts to convert my cab back to original

I have a really nice Liberator cab #704 that was converted into a Shinobi in 1987 and then stored for about 25 years. It still has the button and trackball holes in the control panel, but they have been covered up and new ones were added for Shinobi. The side art and cab is really nice. I need a new board, wiring harness, trackball & buttons (or control panel),marquee, & control panel overlay.

I've seen new marquee's and control panels for sale online, but the rest are harder to find.

I think I have found everything, but the wiring harness. I would be interested in buying one or having one made. Any help is appreciated.

If you can find one that has the same connectors, there's a good chance you could get one from a different Atari game, and move the pins around to make it what you need. It would take some work, but could be a workable solution, short of trying to build one from scratch (which would be more work, honestly).

If you post what the PCB edge connectors are (how many, and how many pins on each), maybe we can help you identify a candidate harness to modify. Most of the Atari harnesses have some degree of similarity to them (they all connect to a brick and an AR, the game board, CP, and marquee/speakers), so it's a matter of finding the closest one that will minimize the amount of modification needed.

I bought the board from AtariForce and he said a Millipede or Crystal Castles wiring harness would work and I would just need to change the pin outs which can be found online. I was just hoping I could find an original one before I would have to go that route.

Cool. If that's the case, then Centipede should also be able to work, and will be a lot easier (and cheaper) to find than a Millipede or CC harness, as there were/are just more of them around.

FWIW, you'll learn a lot about the internals of the game if you have to re-pin an entire harness for it. Might be a worthwhile exercise, if you really want to know how it all works, and what every wire does, etc, which is valuable knowledge if you're restoring a cab.
