Holy crap - I just saw an ad for this game on Steam and had to try the demo. Very retro and it looks like the later challenges could be pretty damn good. For under $5 right now, I'm in.

Looks like it's been available elsewhere for a while - wish I hadn't missed out for so long.

that looks like a lot of fun... maybe I'll pick it up once I finally get myself a new gaming PC... (read, almost anything other than my crummy netbook)

This was totally me last night while playing.

FINALLY made it through the part that's around 1:!5 in the video above. Fuck me. When I did, I landed on only 1 pixel of the little "hump" at the bottom - BARELY made it.

im very confused what the c is, seems to turn him upside down but it seems he's upside down when he jumps???

The c? I don't follow. The way the game works is you can't jump, but can reverse your own gravity instead. So basically you're "Flipping" from the floor to the ceiling to avoid traps, etc. There are some things in the world that can change your gravity for you such as the white lines you see in the video.

Here's an online demo if anyone wants to check it out real quick.

Also, some of the dev's other games are here.

the little capsul with the letter c in it *unless its a g for gravity*?????????? Its all over the levels. what the hell is it.

Ohhhh. Those are "checkpoints." So if you die, you immediately respawn at the last one you touched. Also, if you manually save (the game auto-saves at every teleporter), when you load your save, you'll spawn at the last checkpoint before you saved the game.

Finished it up the other day and found all the 'trinkets.' Now I'm trying to get through the time trials and SUPER GRAVITRON, but god damn...

I'd also like to point out that this fucker apparently has all the trophies as well, which means he's completed the game without dying...

I haven't even gotten 10 seconds into the damn gravitron... :(

woah... that level looks like it's MADE to cause epileptic fits.

It's crazy. Fortunately, that's a bonus level after you beat the game. During the actual game, there's a similar level, but it saves your progress every 5 seconds you make it and starts off at a slower pace than this one.

I discovered this about a month ago when I was getting into indie computer games. vvvvv is one of the best games I've played in a long time. I love the music so much!

At $2.50 this game is a steal. Everyone here should buy it now!
