Many thanks to Nerdygrl, Nerdtendo and others for there advise. I have been working on this for a while and finally got a picture and audio. Only problem is I still have a hum in the speakers and do not know why. Its not to bad once your playing but its there. Also the color is off a bit I tried to adjust it on the board like it says in the manual but its not helping much. I'll try to get a pic for yall soon...Any suggestions....Many thanks again. I am very happy to almost be done.

I forgot to mention that yes I know the monitor needs a cap kit its original and never been touched it seems. The color looked great when the cab played jamma, so just trying to see what else I can do for the color.

Jake, you do know that Nintendo boards put out inverted audio, right? You obviously have the video inverter and are plugged into the wrong output. You also had to have heard of the Nintendo Hum? Come on man.

I'd look at the following:

1. Wiring is wrong
2. You are not using a video inverter
3. Wrong PPU

@ Phet Ive heard of the Hum before but just wandering if there were any tricks.

@ Phet and 2600, this is my first full on wiring and so no about the video inverter. Do tell.

Yea buddy that would do it. It did to that chick in Private Parts..LOL

So whats up with the video inverter??? Ive never dealt with that. I searched a read a bit so do i already have one? Do I need to buy one?

what monitor? Usually if its a sanyo it should have one attatched to the high voltage cage. It has an input and 2 outputs one's labeled inverted and one non-inverted. Unplug from the regular one, and plug into the inverted one.

I should correct myself since you are using a 20EZ. IF it is the inverter, it's the fact that you are plugged into the inverter and you don't need to be since you are using a Vs. Board. The inverter is usually located on top of the flyback cage.

Found it and of course right in front of me..duhhh you klov-ers are outstanding thanks so much for helping me out. As with me and many others Ive been around and yet this was my first re-wire job. Pulled the jamma all out and started over fresh. I know some of the questions sound stupid and probably were to many of you but thanks so much for putting up with me. I feel like a dumbass with it all, but I guess its part of it all to get to the end and learn more as always with arcades. Again thanks so much for everything, I love this place.

@ Phet, thanks for the advise on the speaker hummm, now how to clean it off my screen..
