Hey guys,

I bought a Vs Super Mario and had it shipped from Ca. It arrived with the front and side wooden leg pieces missing, so it's trying to fall over. Also, the screen scrolls vertically up and down when you first turn it on until it warms up. I also need a key for the back and the coin door. Anyone have advice on how to fix the legs and the screen?

Thanks in advance

Here is the burn in for reference. Looks like it's from the Vs Super Mario Insert coin screen

Hey thanks for the reply! That's great info, I really appreciate that. Exactly what I needed:) I'm also seeing the CRT has burn in on the screen. Is it feasible to replace the tube in these?
no, you just live with it. or if you can't, you learn to live with it. this is extremely trivial.

and I wish people would stop with the unnecessary tube swaps. we only have a finite supply of CRT TVs left and I'd much rather continue to experience the only world I've ever known for the duration of my lifetime.

your grandma or great uncle you see once a year for Christmas doesn't really care that your Pac-Man or Super Mario Bros. is burn free.

Yeah I understand that. Though the picture doesn't really show it that well and it looks more noticable in person. I don't plan to do a tube swap anytime soon and wouldn't even know how. I was just curious if it's still possible as I don't even know what type or size mine takes.

What @mecha said.

That burn is nothing. Play your game and enjoy it.

You will be surprised how fast you don't even notice it.
Yeah I'm hoping that's the case. To be honest the picture doesn't really show it that well and it looks more noticable in person. I don't plan to do a tube swap anytime soon and wouldn't even know how. I was just curious if it's still possible as I don't even know what type or size mine takes.

dude my bottom PC-10 monitor has the floor from SMB3 burned into it. they all had this problem. it's part of the Nintendo game circle of life. LOL

When you get a replacement bezel, use tinted plexi. It hides burn pretty well.

Unfortunately like others said burn is just a fact of life now considering tubes have been out of production now for almost 15 years now.

Yep it has one but it's pretty beat up. I'll probably get a new one and have it tinted as well. It does really seem to help.

I'm also seeing some vertical lines that are pretty distracting. Anyone have ideas on how to fix that?

You're in danger of sounding like an old fart.

Unfortunately this is normal for vs system games. All Vs marios have this issue.
Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate that. Haven't played one on the actual cabinet since I was a kid. I'm looking forward to restoring it and playing it more.
