Vs SMB red tent question

Can you play vs SMB head to head on a red tent? One side play as Mario, the other side Luigi?

Nope. I think less than a handful of games can use both monitors at the same time.

Also, I'm looking forward to your Multi Vs Lite kits and your planned ROMS. Please note that as far as I know, Vs SMB can only be inserted on one side of the PCB at a time, and on a specific side (depending on if it's in a Unisystem of a Dual System). The Unisystem also requires a dummy chip installed on the other side (or some other hack) for SMB to work.

Oh yes. That I am well aware of... I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Working on different PPU on each side of the pcb. Crazy amount of combos and testing. Just crazy.

No sleep tonight if I want to get this out tomorrow! Fingers crossed.

You can actually. But you need to rewire the harness so that both sides are playing the same one game on only one side of the PCB. I've done it with games like, RBI, Ice Climbers and Sky Kid. Even Freedom Force becomes a two person gun game. Not really worth the trouble and loss of the other side of the PCB.
