Vs. Ninja Jajamaru Kun (Nintendo Vs. Game)

We all have! Us Nintendo enthusiasts are just obnoxious when it comes to new and exciting games and artwork, I guess! I'm just glad that we have smart and able people, on board, that help us increases the Nintendo hobby and library. Say we get the code cracked on PPU's. What's next? Individual Vs High-Score save kits?!?

Since we're throwing all of our dreams on the table, I was actually hoping that the Vs. system actually had more "Vs." (head-to-head/co-op/4P) games. When you look at the overall scope, there isn't a lot. Some that I wish they had:
4P simultaneous:
- Vs. Bomberman
- Vs. Super Spike V'Ball
- Vs. Gauntlet II
- Vs. Nintendo World Cup
Head-to-Head/Co-op:
- Vs. Excitebike (Famicom)
- Vs. Smash T.V (2P, each using two joysticks)
- Vs. Tecmo Super Bowl
I know some of these games came out way after the red tent, but still, if there was a possibility to make custom games/ppus, this would be so sweet.

I dont care how its done, really. AND, if it could be multi for both sides of a Red Tent, I would probably come in my pants. How awesome would that be? Actually it would suck, cause I have a shit ton of PCBs w/ chipsets that would be worthless, haha.

It's just emulation of the NES isn't usually that good. Depends how much you really notice, but sounds are usually off a bit and some of the mapper switching is off. You probably wouldn't have to worry about the mapper stuff too much for the vs, but the sounds and timing may be slightly annoying if you have the real thing right next to you.
I am going to agree with first two. Star Luster is cool but a little boring.
Might Bomb Jack is also the shit. Did I mention that before???

I can see why people would think that. I'll preface my love for it by saying I'm a huge fan of space flight sims (like X-WING, TIE Fighter, etc.) and was surprised at how Star Luster tapped into those same feelings of gameplay.
I find it a good mix of dogfighting, strategy (deciding which base/planet to defend and when to refuel before running out of energy) and time (a game where you can sit down and play for a while on one credit).

Weird, this is the first Vs game i have ever seen on eeproms instead of eproms. and the chips are not labeled for sockets, just numbered 1-6.

I believe that John (Blkdog7) said that his MBJ board, also had the chips labeled 1-5. Must have been a Japanese difference.
