I have seen clues on the internet about a Nintendo Vs. Kung-Fu Master for the unisystem or dualsystem. I guess it existed in Japan but there are no known ROM dumps for this game.

Has anyone come across this or seen this game for the Nintendo Vs. ever?? Anyone??

This would be freaking sweet if true...

I found a thread somewhere a few months ago with people begging for a dump of the ROMs for MAME testing. I have seen it on a few lists of known VS. games.

I really want it. It would be an incredibly FUN game to play!

i spent hours searching the net after we talked about this the other night.. We must find this...i think we need a good Japanese translator to get on the klov of japan..

I'm guessing that some of the games in the add never got released.

The released soccer and Bungeling bay.

On a side-note... Wouldn't this make a great t-shirt?

I noticed Vs DK3, too. Wonder how they did that with a vertical game?

I want a Vs Tetris, too. You have that one don't you?

Obviously, that list is not accurate on that Spanish site. But, I have seen Vs. Kung-Fu a few times now to think it's real! I wish I could find this one MAME thread. I will keep looking.

I have Vs. Tetris. It's cool.

I love Kung Fu for the NES/PC-10. Never played the Master version. I have the PC-10 version, and that is enuff for me.

The game seems to have a few names.

The arcade version in the USA was called Kung-Fu Master. On the NES it was called Kung-Fu. And, in Japan, it was called Spartan X. The game is actually based on a Jackie Chan movie that was called Spartan X.

I always felt it was loosely based on Bruce Lee's 'Game of Death', specially with the 3rd level boss and the final boss.
